Pleasant tour of the malga (farmsteads)

The starting point of this beautiful hike is the wild animal reserve at Fragges in Stelvio. From here, you reach the Malga Stelvio through a not-too-steep path in the woods and the forest road. Just below the malga, the Alta Via n. 4 veers off to the Malga di Prato (2,051 m) and the Forcola hut (2,250 m), where you can enjoy fresh mountain dairy products. In addition, you will be rewarded by a magnificent view of the Ortler.
