Hike on the border

Your hike starts from the wild animal reserve in Fragges. Along path n. 2, you reach the Stelvio hut (2,077 m). From here, the winding path n. 5 leads across grassy slopes to the summit of Mount Cavallaccio (2,764 m), which spans the border between Italy and Switzerland. Your efforts will be rewarded by a magnificent 360° view of the Münster Valley and the entire Ortler range. The descent is along the same path.
